I am seeking re-election to the school board, because I want to continue to contribute to the Spring-Ford community through working collaboratively with board members, the administrative team, and the community to support academic opportunities for all our students in a fiscally responsible manner.
As a former Spring-Ford teacher, resident for 19 years, parent of three SF graduates, public school administrator, with a doctorate in Educational Leadership, I am a strong and knowledgeable advocate for public education. I will continue to be committed to work to enact programs that engage and educate all students in our district, to promote the safety and well-being of our students and staff, and to cultivate working relationships with all stake-holders.
Personnel
To ensure that all students have access to highly qualified and invested staff through the processes of hiring, supporting, and providing professional development.
Academics
Align policies and resources to promote academic achievement for all students through focusing on rigorous programming and supporting our highly qualified staff in developing and sustaining a state-of-the-art curriculum.
Infrastructure
Our students and staff will be best served by having a strong infrastructure that supports student achievement and our community. This can best be done through long term planning and investing in our programming and facilities in a thoughtful and responsible manner.
Long Term Fiscal Planning
I am dedicated to smart and careful long-term planning that makes the most of every dollar for our schools. This way, we can give our students the top-quality education they deserve while showing respect to our taxpayers by using their hard-earned money wisely and responsibly.
